Sounds of Puerto Rico

June 4, 2015
Rooster - Puerto Rico

One of the momentous things about island living is the musical symphony that comes alive at night. The beautiful sounds of island creatures that unite in harmony is absolute magic. Although the crowing of roosters took time getting use to, I learned to appreciate their rambunctious crows in the wee morning hours. However, my favorite tune is that of the coqui. The coqui is a small frog species endemic to Puerto Rico. Their distinctive sweet sound is music to my ears.

Take a moment to enjoy the wonderful sounds of Puerto Rico…
