Flashback Friday: Singapore & Cartagena

June 17, 2016

Fond memories of both Singapore and Cartagena. It’s hard to believe that a year ago from today, I was in Singapore and then two years ago from today, I was in Cartagena. It saddens me a little that I’m here in Los Angeles right now and nowhere exotic and adventurous, but keeping the faith that in time I’ll be back on the International track. In the meantime, I have wonderful memories of both these places. Singapore was one of the cleanest cities I’ve ever seen. The pulse of Singapore reminds me a bit of LA, but the two cities are definitely different. The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is a spectacle with a million dollar view. One of my favorite experiences was having a drink at the top of the SkyPark.

Traveling to Cartagena was also a treat. I had the opportunity to travel with a great group and we had a blast! Cartagena is a vibrant and charming city with splendid places to dine and shop. The people are friendly and it feels like the city never sleeps – you can hear music throughout the streets, people gathering and socializing, and sometimes dancing. Be sure to check out my past posts of my adventures to these lively cities.
