Puerto Rico is one of my favorite places in the Caribbean.
Because the people are warm and welcoming, it contributes to a very relaxed environment. My last visit was in April 2015, traveling to the towns of Aguadilla; Cabo Rojo; Corozal; Old San Juan; and Isla Verde. Read all about it in previous posts of Puerto Rico. Today’s flashback photo is of a visit to Castillo San Felipe del Morro in Old San Juan. Since this was one of my favorite spots for taking amazing pics, I thought it would be great to highlight. Old San Juan is a walkable city which its highly encouraged to tour on foot. The architecture is stunning along the beautifully paved cobblestone streets. Castillo San Felipe is a 16th century citadel that was designed to guard enemy approaches by land. Its sister fort, El Morro, was designed to protect attacks by sea. Each are unique in their own way, therefore proving stunning photo ops.
